here is a picture of our main characters car that she will be using when stalking her 'lover boy' and following him around different locations. We thought this car was perfect as it fits our genre and feel to the song perfectly, also as Kate Nash has a quirky personality and likes to include bright colours in her video's we have also adapted to this concept :)

Costume

In our music video we want our costumes to represent our artist well. We want all of our characters in our video to be in bright or vintage clothing with similar accessories. Similarly to the costume being with this theme we want the girls bedroom to be full of lots of clutter and photographs and its and bobs stuck all around.

As you can see here in the picture Kate Nash is wearing a bright coloured vintage dress with cute black patent shoes. She has a quirky little set of DJ decks with her and a little abstract light coming down. All of these little things add to Kate Nash's over all image.

This costume and surrounding also represents Kate Nashs quirky image through costume ad set. She again is wearing bright colours with little abstract props such as posters in the background. There is also an effect n the camera to make the picture look old and antique this is an effect that we could consider using in our music video or album cover.

I found this image and thought that it represented well the image we want our characters to have. The big  print oversize jumper is a very iconic vintage thing to wear therefor we will ask around for one or look in the shops for one that our main character can wear.

These geek glasses will be worn by our lead girl to show her cute innocent but still quirky look. These glasses are seen as extremely fashionable to be wearing at the moment as many famous fashion icons wear them and therefore they will still show Kate Nash's high fashion image but still seam like the innocent character of the girl in the story. 

As you can see this is a photo off Myleene Class a well known fashion icon from from channel 4's 'ten years younger' is seen as a well dressed women who gives great fashion advice. In this photo Myleene is wearing a pair of ray bans these are a brand of glasses which tend to have a vintage and geek look which would be ideal for our artist to wear and we have a look a like version of these ready for our lead girl to wear.

we liked the way the repetitve use of the girl is constant letting the audience know she is the one the boy is chasing .. simular to ours how there is one main character the boy that the girl is aiming to get the whole way through.

this song is more towards the pop genre than indie-pop however in the video kesha uses cartoon images which we really like and intend to use in our video. It help back up the quirky indie genre and gives the video a variation of different shots and different things happening to make it more exciting for our audience.

The Home page on this website has a video of his latest track to instantly get you aware of his style and image. The colour schemes are dark yet all matching and his name logo is iconic at the top of the site. All important details are added such as tour dates and news about him, we liked this website however we want to make ours more colourful, happy and vibrant to show Kates character symbolically.

we found when you first open the homepage there is alot of information shown however when you look into more detail you can see that all the information given is relevant to tour dates, lilly allen news, what she's been up to and mp3 downlaoads. this homepage is more fun and exciting then Jamie T's however we intend ours to be alot more colourful and more quirky images rather than blocks of text.

When opening this home page you are welcomed with a big picture of a recording studio with cartoon images inclued such as wires and microphones. There are alot more videos and images in this than with Lilly Allen's and Jamie T's. This is more along the lines of what we are wanting to do but with more colour. The majority of there music videos are on the homepage of there website and it is set out like a bog. We like this as it makes it more simple and easy to use.

This homepage was set out nicely with different sections under relevant headings which were easy to understand, the font type links to his image and key things are shown such as, video's, a blog and latest news. A picture of him is the largest thing on the site which we felt was good as you are shown the artist instantly and it is iconic.

This site was different from the others however we liked it the most how it was set out differently and had an enterance page to enter the site it was more clear and less text appeared making it more clear and easy to see things. Lots of images of pixie appeared and the colour scheme linked to her as the colours were pink and girlie to her style and genre of song. It appeared more personal with casual pictures of her at latest places she had appeared and we realised this is how we want ours to be more personal to connect to our audience.
