final music video

this is our final video :)
video
we were really pleased with the final outcome, with new technologies on our mac such and ican animate and the effects on imovie it allowed us to become more creative and overall create a better music video for our target audience to enjoy.

our digipack :)

here is our digipack :)

we used a constant colour sceme of pink to link with our 'love theme' that occurs throughout our video, we also used the flower pattern as a constant theme to relate to our 'indie-pop' genre however we took the pattern by taking a photo of the dress and just using the patten to use in all aspects.
to create the background on the cover we wrote and draw different letters and symbols to relate to love and sentences such as 'together forever' however when we uploaded it we felt like it needed more colour therefore we used the paint bucket and put in a pinky colour and used different colours to fill in the love hearts to give it variation.
to create the L O V E we took individual photos with the letters and cut them out on photoshop to give them and individual image yet we made them at an angle to add to the quirkyness.
we used the flowers on the border from our website to make the digipack and website all link together as one.
when looking at kate nash's digipack she also made it quite plain yet with quirky images and sketches making it stand out.
we wanted to make the background white however we thought it looked to plain, in relation to our website and humouress video.

kate nash's website

when designing out own website we had to consider our music genre and target audience. looking at our artists website it helped generate ideas..
as you can see the the images are in black and white however look sketched this adds to the quirkyness of kate nash as an artist. the writing looks child like and very basic and simple. the images consisting of animals add to the naturalistic feel of the image.

when you enter the main website with the links on to move onto a seperate tab, however we feel this website looks quite messy with lots of things going on ...
the main concepts of her quirkyness and indie image still portrays through the use of sketching.

the gay scene

Here is the scene where the girl our 'kate nash' finds out the boy she is in love with is gay. without showing too much it is appropriate we slowed it down in slow motion so its clear what is happening to the audience.

costume

Here is our party scene. As the lyrics say ' and i went to that party everyone they looked kind of arty ' we elaborated on this and everyone in this picture was dressed as a toy .. this added to our humour element in our video and increased the quirkyness.
